Privacy policy
Background
Graft Creative Ltd is a limited company providing graphic design and illustration services. Registered address: Graft Creative Ltd, Studio S4, Leah’s Yard, 22 Cambridge Street, Sheffield City Centre, S1 4HP.
The purposes of this privacy notice/policy are to inform you about the data and information that I collect, your rights, and how we protect and use your data.
Graft Creative will always keep any information that I collect private and in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 including its applied GDPR provisions (DPA 2018).
What personal information will be collected?
At Graft Creative, I don’t take payments online or run any targeted advertising campaigns – so the data that’s collected is very basic and generally anonymous.
Across all tools, the data collected is:
-
Name
-
Company name
- Job role
-
Email address
The ways I collect data are:
Newsletter – Constant Contact
If you’ve been kind enough to subscribe to my newsletter, then I will have captured some personal data. Namely:
-
Name
-
Company name
- Job role
-
Email address
This data is then stored securely in Constant Contact. You can find out more about how your data is stored and protected at Constant Contact here.
It’s called a ‘Data Processing Agreement’ because that’s the correct term for its role in GDPR. I am the data controller, and Mailerlite is the data processor. You can read more about that kind of stuff on the ICO website.
Calendly
I use Calendly to book calls and meetings, and capture information for new leads. It helps me qualify leads and also means that we come to meetings with all of the basic information-gathering bits already done. Super handy.
In terms of data, I capture:
-
Name
-
Email address
-
Name of company
-
Inquiry details – including: budget, timescales, a brief description.
It will also ask you if you would like to subscribe to my newsletter. If you are so kind as to say yes, I will then manually add you to the subscriber list in Constant Contact. If you say no, I will use your email purely for the purpose of communicating with you about the opportunity (and potentially, eventually, the job) – but I will never sign you up to the newsletter as you’ve said no.
Your email will be stored in my CRM for tracking my sales pipeline.

Changes to and retention of the data
You are able to make changes to your data by emailing me at emily@follycreative.co.uk, and should do so in the following circumstances: change of email address, change of contact preference.
Your data will be retained for 5 years. On expiration of that date your data will be deleted from my CRM and Mailerlite unless you opt in to stay on the system. This will be reviewed in 2027.
You can unsubscribe from my newsletter at any time through the unsubscribe button in my emails. Or you can email me to unsubscribe.
User’s rights including the right to object or withdrawal of consent
Your consent to usage of your data can be withdrawn at any time. To do this, you must unsubscribe through the button in my emails. Or you can email me to delete your data.
